Due to inclement weather, Steelton Borough municipal offices will be closed on Monday, February 23, 2026.
The snow emergency for the Borough of Steelton has been lifted, and residents may resume normal parking on previously restricted routes.
However, the state disaster declaration remains in effect. This declaration allows state and local agencies to continue coordinating resources, funding, and emergency support as we recover from the storm. It does not impose parking restrictions or change daily activities for residents, but it helps ensure the Borough has access to additional assistance if needed.
Public Works will continue snow removal near curbs and addressing excess snow throughout the Borough. We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as cleanup efforts continue.
We ask residents to continue to work together with public works and the highway department as cleanup continues and advise that vehicles may be required to relocate temporarily to clear as clean up efforts continue.
As always, please use caution when traveling and stay tuned for any further updates.
