The Finance & Pension Committee meeting scheduled for tonight, Thursday, September 10, 2026, is now an in-person and virtual meeting.

Events Committee meetings until the end of the year have been changed from 4:45-5:45 PM to 5:00-6:00 PM, but will still be held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.
There will be no street sweeper service on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. The Public Works and Codes Departments will be closed for mandatory training.
The Steelton Borough Municipal Building will close at 12:00 PM (noon) on Friday, September 4, 2026, and remain closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day. Steelton Borough will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
The Planning Commission meeting originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, 2026, has been canceled due to no business.
Please be advised that the Utility Billing Office will be closed for all business, including sewer payments and boat launch permits, from Monday, September 14 through Thursday, September 17, 2026. The closure is necessary to allow staff to complete required training on the Borough’s new financial system.
Normal operations will resume on Friday, September 18, 2026.
During the closure, residents may submit payments via the Borough’s drop box. Payments received through the drop box will be processed upon the office’s reopening.
