National Night Out 2025

The Steelton Borough Council and the Steelton Borough Police Department will be hosting the annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This community event will be held at War Veterans Memorial Field (Steelton-Highspire High School’s football field) located at the intersection of South 6th Street & Primrose Avenue, Steelton, PA 17113.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign promoting police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Over 16,000 communities from all 50 states, U.S. Territories, Canadian cities, and military bases around the world celebrate this event. In all, over 37 million people are expected to participate in America’s National Night Out celebration this year.

If your organization would like to participate by having a table at this event or provide a donation to support, please contact Officer Tyrai Anderson at tanderson@steeltonpa.com. There is no fee to register, and it is a great way to spread the word to the Steelton community about the products and services you can provide to our residents. You can also register by downloading the attached form and returning it by email to tanderson@steeltonpa.com or by mail to 123 North Front Street, Steelton, PA 17113 with the ATTN: National Night Out 2025.

Fun Times in the Park 2025 Schedule

The Steelton Borough Police Department is excited to announce this year’s Fun Times in the Park schedule. All events are from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM:

  • Monday, April 28 at Municipal Park (Franklin Street & 3rd Alley)
  • Friday, May 16 at Ryan Mohn Memorial Park (Primrose Avenue & Cottage Hill Lane)
  • Wednesday, May 21 at East End Park (South 4th Street & P Street)

We will be bringing board games, sports balls, sidewalk chalk, and other fun activities. Feel free to bring your favorite games too!
